Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Automation Assembly Technician to join a great team of associates responsible for building and manufacturing automated production machinery and power units.

Responsibilities

+ Build automation assemblies, subassemblies, cables, and power units for automated production machinery and equipment.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work station.

+ Adhere to all company standards, procedures, and policies.

+ Contribute to an environment of open communication and teamwork.

+ Use hand/power tools to complete work.

+ Comprehend and utilize blueprints and schematics to ensure conformance of final product.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years experience in manufacturing.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude.

+ Experience in manufacturing assembly and subassembly, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and electrical assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanical aptitude and some previous related work history.

+ Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and electrical components.

+ Desire to learn and possess a strong attention to detail.

+ Commitment and assurance to perform high quality work based on customer needs and specifications.

+ Assembly, hydraulics, welding, and repair experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
