Sub Assembly - Hampshire, IL

Job Description

The Assembler will be responsible for using work instructions and hand tools to build industrial sweeping machines. The role involves working at four different assembly stations, each progressively more challenging, where you will install brakes, tires, lift arms, hoses, harnesses, sub-assemblies, and perform final assembly.

Responsibilities

+ Use work instructions and hand tools to build industrial sweeping machines.

+ Work through four different assembly stations, each with increasing difficulty.

+ Install components such as brakes, tires, lift arms, hoses, harnesses, and sub-assemblies.

+ Perform final assembly of industrial sweeping machines.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in reading instruction manuals for assembly.

+ Experience in using hand and power tools, including wrenches and screw guns.

+ Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of general labor and light assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in heavy assembly is a plus.

+ Familiarity with safety practices in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

Work in a clean manufacturing setting that deviates from the traditional line assembly style. The facility has 4 to 5 stations where multiple assembly processes are completed. The environment is well-lit and safety-conscious. The position follows a first shift schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
