*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for a*_Sales Area Selling Manager_*. The right candidate is responsible for managing the sales process, hiring, training, managing and motivating sales staff in a specific geographic area while providing excellent customer service. The Sales Area Selling Manager continuously sources new customers, helps customers find and design their dream home, and ensures a smooth sales process.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Recruit and hire future sales representatives
* Train and motivate sales representatives
* Meet or exceed sales goals, and including selling and closing homes under area of responsibility
* Create new sales incentives for neighborhoods
* Conduct realtor outreach (realtor breakfasts, lunches, office presentations)
* Collaborate with marketing and division personnel on advertising campaigns
* Introduce and promote marketing promotions to the sales representatives
* Perform competitive analysis on product, features and neighborhoods/amenities
* Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision and capabilities to potential customers
* Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges then establish DR Horton as the best solution available
* Overcome objections and closes for the sale
* Maintains accurate documentation of transaction from sale through loan, options, and construction
* Continually source new sales opportunities
* Manages time efficiently to meet sales goals and works effectively with other members of the team
* Create and provide to management a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships
* Maintain and expand database of prospects
* Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members
* Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards
* Conduct sales meetings as necessary
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
* Ability to travel overnight

*Supervisory Responsibilities*
* Supervises 2 or more employees
*Education and/or Experience*
* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and four years sales experience or high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 6 years of sales experience
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in CRM with capability of training and supporting sales team on usage and best practices
* Manage time efficiently to meet sales goals and works effectively with other members of the team
* Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and email
* Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision
