    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you will work on food packaging equipment such as mixers and pouch machines. You will perform both mechanical and electrical repairs and work in the control room troubleshooting PLCs.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food packaging equipment.

    + Troubleshoot PLCs and work with board controls and drives.

    + Handle mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, servos, and some machining using lathes and mills.

    + Conduct welding tasks as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical and mechanical repair experience.

    + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.

    + Knowledge of motor controls and experience with VFDs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a food industry environment.

    + PLC programming skills are a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean food/GMP environment, although it can become slightly messy due to sauce production. The company provides uniforms. Choose from various shifts including Day Shift (4am - 4pm, Monday - Thursday), Night Shift (4pm - 4am, Monday - Thursday), or Weekend Shift (7am - 7:30pm, Friday - Sunday).

    This is a Permanent position based out of Broadview, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.

     

    Family owned company that pays for insurance and 3% match of 401K.
