    Job Title: 2nd Shift Packaging

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Packaging Specialist on the food production line, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring quality and efficiency in packaging food servings. This position requires weighing out food for each serving and accurately filling dishes with a variety of meats, pastas, rice, and vegetables. The role involves repetitive tasks throughout the shift and standing for the entire duration.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate on a food packaging production line.

    + Weigh and package food servings accurately.

    + Fill dishes with the correct food of the day, including meats, pastas, rice, and vegetables.

    + Maintain consistency in performing duties throughout the shift.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in packaging and visual inspection.

    + Ability to perform general labor tasks.

    + Comfortable standing for long periods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to work overtime as needed.

    + Comfortable working in a 53-34 degree environment.

    Work Environment

     

    The work takes place in a food production environment, with temperatures maintained at 52-53 degrees on the production floor and a colder 34 degrees in the Weigh Pack/Cold Room. Employees must adhere to safety protocols, including wearing a hair net, smock or lab coat, and a beard cover if applicable. Jewelry is not permitted on the production floor, including wedding rings. The role requires standing throughout the shift.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $31720.00 - $31720.00/yr.
