    We are hiring a **Group Product Manager** to lead the **Agentic OS (** **AgOS** **) team** , a critical pillar in our mission to evolve Windows into the best and most secure platform for agents and computer-use agents (CUAs). This team is at the forefront of infusing AI and agentic capabilities deeply into the Windows operating system and developer platform—pushing boundaries on what it means to build adaptive, intelligent, and secure user experiences at scale.

     

    You’ll define and deliver the foundational platform capabilities that allow agents to understand user context, take action on their behalf, and maintain privacy and trust across the Windows ecosystem. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, research, and cross-company AI efforts, including Azure AI and Copilot teams.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead product strategy and execution for Agentic OS features and APIs across Windows OS and app platform layers.

    + Define the platform surface for agentic interactions, including system capabilities, native model context protocol support, and new agentic capabilities.

    + Partner with security and privacy stakeholders to uphold and advance Windows’ reputation as a secure and trustworthy platform for intelligent systems.

    + Drive platform adoption and developer engagement, enabling first- and third-party apps to build on Windows Agentic capabilities.

    + Mentor and grow a team of PMs, building clarity, alignment, and momentum across a fast-moving, high-stakes charter.

    + Coordinate across partner teams in Windows, M365, and Azure AI to deliver a unified, seamless experience for users and developers.

    + Engage deeply with customers and partners, including Agents, ISVs, and enterprise IT, to validate platform direction and gather feedback.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 6+ years people management experience.

    + 10+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of shipping developer platforms, operating systems, or large-scale intelligent experiences.

    + 3+ yearsof experience in AI/ML, commercial, or privacy-preserving user experiences.

    + 3+ yearsof experiencewith system architecture and developer APIs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 8+ years people management experience.

    + Familiarity with AI agents, copilots, or conversational interfaces.

    + Background in building products for both consumer and enterprise audiences.

    + Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of responsible AI, security, and privacy principles.

     

    Product Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
