Summary This position is assigned to the Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Business Center (BC), Grants & Agreements Division. Responsibilities The primary duties and responsibilities are to provide support to the Branch Chief and assist with policy development, pre-award review, execution, and post award administration of Grants, Cooperative Agreements, and Cooperative Support Agreements. Time in grade: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade to be considered for the next higher grade (e.g. one year at the GS-13 grade level for consideration for the GS-14 grade level). Position may be made permanent without further competition as per agency policy Specialized Experience for the GS- 14 level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience in the Grants Management field equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience that demonstrates a wide range of grant program and agreement policies and regulations, including techniques in grant development, overseeing application, award and evaluation processes sufficient to initiate inter-intra-Agency agreements, cooperative and other agreements, evaluate progress and determine consistency and compliance with program objectives.
