The Quality Control Manager’s primary responsibility is to identify and mitigate risk during construction through the implementation of Dimeo Construction’s Quality Control Program to ensure the success of multiple or singular projects.
Responsible for the project team members such as Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, Assistant Project Engineers, and their overall performance under the QC Manager’s leadership throughout the project duration.

+ Support the Client Executive, Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, and Marketing team in project pursuits.
+ Support RFP responses and interviews.
+ Generate Client & A/E relationships.
Requirements
Build Work
+ Be a resource during the preconstruction effort through the development of the Guaranteed Maximum Price, as requested.
+ In conjunction with the project team, this position guides, expedites, and administers the Dimeo Construction Quality Control Program in accordance with the project schedule and budget.
+ Maintain Client and A/E relationships throughout the project cycle and beyond.
+ Maintain Subcontractor and Trade Worker relationships throughout the project cycle and beyond.
+ Develop the project-specific Quality Control plan, the Definable Feature of Work (DFOW) log, the Test & Inspections matrix, the Mockups & Benchmarks log, and set up Procore to facilitate the program.
+ Coordinate and chair all pre-installation meetings, initial / pre-start meetings, and weekly quality meetings.
+ Identify and assist in the resolution of major project quality issues with the Project Manager / Superintendent.
+ Ability to coordinate, interact, and/or direct field labor, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and architects.
+ Maintain client objectives, ensure needs are addressed, and continue client relations beyond project completion.
+ Assist in the development of the project communications methods and protocol.
+ Coordinate and lead project meetings to discuss critical issues and foresee potential exposures, strategies, and resolve issues relative to quality.
+ Verify existing project conditions and build into schedule, logistics, and scopes.
+ Develop strategies to incorporate the project safety plan into quality, schedule, logistics, and scopes.
+ Identify risks and develop strategic plans during the preconstruction and construction phases.
+ Support the project team through scope review meetings.
+ Perform inspections during construction and oversee testing, with special emphasis on roofing, windows, doors, siding, waterproofing, and other areas at high risk for water intrusion.
+ Ensure Quality Control Program reporting requirements are being fulfilled and required meetings are being conducted.
+ Manage and monitor the tools in Procore to ensure all procedures of the Quality Control program are being followed.
+ Develop and maintain a detailed and thorough summary of project Lessons Learned, Best Practices, and AHA Moments, and present this information in the team Operations Meetings..
