Waste Connections is looking for a **Diesel Mechanic** to join our 2nd shift team in **Cleveland, TN** . Whether you're experienced or just starting out, this is a great opportunity to build a career with a company that values safety, growth, and teamwork.

What You’ll Do:

+ Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and heavy equipment.

+ Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems.

+ Use onboard diagnostics to identify and resolve issues.

+ Complete safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards.

+ Accurately document work using fleet maintenance software.

+ Participate in an **overnight on-call rotation** as needed.

Schedule & Pay:

+ **Shift:** Monday–Friday, **12:00 PM – 10:30 PM**

+ **Additional OT** as needed, including **occasional Saturdays**

+ **Pay:** $20–$28 per hour, **depending on experience**

What You’ll Need:

+ Valid **Class B CDL** with air brake endorsement (or willingness to obtain) would be a plus

+ Ability to lift **50 lbs repeatedly**

+ Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

+ A strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
