    If you have time in the morning and/or the afternoon, and are looking for additional income, the Anamosa Community School District is in search of Special Ed Route Drivers and substitute bus drivers for the 2025-2026 school year. ACSD pays substitute bus drivers an hourly rate: $32.41 per hour, paid a minimum of 1 1/2 hours for a.m. route and 1 1/2 hours for p.m. route.

     

    + Requirements

    + Successfully Complete a DOT Physical

    + Class B CDL

    + Passenger Endorsement

    + School Bus Endorsement

    + Air Brake Endorsement

    + Clean Driving Record

     

    If you do not have your CDL (Commercial Drivers Licence) or you have a CDL, but need additional endorsements,we can help with obtaining those, we will pay you to obtain them. ACSD is an approved ELDT (Entry Level Driver Training) Site. We can walk with you every step of the way and provide the training and support for obtaining your CDL and/or appropriate endorsements.
