Are you ready to make a lasting impact in the lives of K–12 students? We're seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team, working under the guidance of an experienced Special Education Program Administrator. This role is more than a teaching position—it's a chance to empower students, collaborate with passionate educators, and grow in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Deliver individualized instruction and support tailored to special education students

+ Collaborate actively with general education staff to develop inclusive learning plans

+ Take part in designing and implementing programs that include specialized teaching, tutorial support, and consultation

Classroom Environment:

+ Structured, self-contained classroom designed for clarity and focus

+ Multiple paraprofessionals and support staff available to assist with instruction and student engagement

+ Strong team culture with shared responsibility and ongoing collaboration

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred

+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations

+ Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred

+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred

+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred

+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred

+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
