    Salary: $1012 / Week

     

    Behavioral Classroom Aide

    Position Details:

    + Will be working with Special Education students with mild-severe disabilities/behaviors

    + Duration: 39 weeks

    + Hours: 37.5 per week

    + Start Date: August 18th

    + Must have HS Diploma or equivalent

    + Prior Special Education/Behavioral experience a PLUS

    + Must complete Amergis's Crisis Prevention Training

    Position Summary:

    The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High School diploma or equivalent required

    + Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
