As a Treasury Operations Specialist, you will provide routine and customized reporting to senior management that will optimize decision making. You will initiate daily payment runs via the Enterprise Resource Planning system, manual electronic payments, miscellaneous supplier maintenance and analysis, cash forecasting, and assist in the management of the firm’s investment portfolios.
In this role you will:
+ Provide leadership, guidance and assistance in the preparation and development of various non-recurring reports and forecasting models, complete special projects as assigned, and participate on special committees sponsored by Senior Management, as required.
+ Provide leadership and guidance to others in the preparation of various specialized monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the performance of the Company's accounts receivable portfolio.
+ Develop and maintain models that forecast the future financial performance of the Company.
+ Assume ‘Administrator’ role in the portal of the Company's primary cash management bank that facilitates the release of electronic payments from the central account.
+ Evaluate and make recommendations for daily, monthly, and annual cash forecasting in conjunction with the Treasury Manager; lead the effort to forecast and budget the Company's interest expense.
+ Assist with the analysis of suppliers including but not limited to, financial statement analysis and contract review.
+ Assist and participate in the oversight of the Company’s investment portfolios for pension, profit sharing and foundation plans.
What you bring to the table:
+ Minimum 5 years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility in a field or Corporate Finance or Accounting role
+ Four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred
+ Specific knowledge of supply chain management
+ Experience with strategic planning and execution
+ General knowledge of equity and fixed income financial markets
+ Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to interact with all levels within the organization as well as customers and suppliers
+ Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks and projects
+ Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
+ Proficient in analyzing and interpreting data
+ Capable of performing a wide variety of treasury activities ranging in difficulty from routine to complex
+ Ability to work under limited supervision, exercise good judgment, and maintain confidentiality
+ Ability to work independently or in a group setting
+ Occasional travel required
**Work Shift and Hours:** Monday - Friday, standard business hours, in office
**Compensation Details:** The expected base salary for this position is starting at $84,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics.
