CTG is seeking to fill an Engineer opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

**Location:** Phoenix, AZ or Sunrise, FL

**Duration:** 12 months

Duties:

+ Design, develop, and maintain applications using Kotlin, React / React JS, and Java.

+ Contribute to the development of a new Financial Crimes Platform aimed at improving Anti-Money Laundering (AML) investigations.

+ Tackle business challenges including large-scale data processing, regulatory compliance across jurisdictions, and platform integration.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure code quality, scalability, and performance.

+ Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.

+ Continuously improve development practices and share knowledge with the broader team.

Skills:

+ Proficiency in Kotlin, React / React JS, and Java.

+ Strong understanding of clean coding principles and software design patterns.

+ Basic working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and associated big data technologies.

+ Ability to write maintainable, testable, and efficient code.

+ Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Experience:

+ Proven experience in software development using Kotlin, React or Java.

+ Experience working in modern software development environments, preferably with cloud technologies.

+ Hands-on experience with large-scale data applications or platforms.

+ Exposure to financial crimes, regulatory technology, or compliance systems is a plus.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
