    Overnight Stock Clerk

     

    + Provides courteous and friendly customer relations, including greeting customers and answering their questions.

    + Orders products as requested.

    + Prepares, handles, stocks, or stores all products received.

    + Rotates all merchandise according to code dating policies.

    + Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure proper location on the shelf, in saleable condition, and within the stocking guidelines established.

    + Keeps the department fixtures, equipment, and area free from accident hazards at all times.

    + Handles all store property and equipment in such a manner as to provide safe use.

    + Maintains housekeeping functions (shelves and loose cardboard disposal).

    + Assists in display building as directed.

    + Works back stock from back room.

    + Operate ordering equipment.

    + Operate pallet jacks and hydraulic baler.

    + Run register and assist front-end operations as requested.

    + Unload trucks.

    + Monitor the temperature of refrigerated cases.

    + Operate telephones and intercoms and practice proper telephone etiquette.

    + Follows all policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
