    Job Description

    We are looking for a hard-working and experienced IT Director, Commercial to join our impactful team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. This outstanding opportunity allows you to own and run all group-level commercial, finance, and customer-facing IT applications, ensuring we deliver world-class solutions. You will play a crucial role in aligning our digital strategy with our customers' needs, driving innovation, and propelling our commercial success!

    What will you do:

    + IT Responsibilities: Own the growth and development of your team by setting annual priorities and goals. Support the development of the PSG-IT annual operating plan and budget. Participate in the ITLT extended leadership team.

    + Digital Strategy Development: Develop PSG-IT's digital strategy by incorporating customer, commercial, and finance needs. Drive funding for digital initiatives in commercial STRAP. Be accountable for the strategic roadmaps of all group-level commercial applications. Lead our customer digital integrations' strategy.

    + Lead development teams: For customer and commercial applications. Apply your experience with agile methodology. Lead vendors supporting commercial applications and projects.

    + Customer Engagement: Own and lead all group-level customer-facing applications. Regularly collaborate with customers to understand their digital strategy and share our strategy. Be the voice of the customer for PSG-IT.

    How will you get here:

    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related degree preferred.

    Experience

    + 7-10 years of experience, with 3 years in IT leadership roles, particularly in commercial/life sciences sector.

    + Outstanding skills in digital strategy development and customer engagement.

    + Good understanding of agile methodologies

    + Ability to successfully execute strategic roadmaps and lead digital integrations.

    + Excellent team development and leadership capabilities.
