    Join the State Attorney's Office and be part of a dynamic team. This office is located in Pensacola, Florida. This is a full-time position – Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

     

    This position will be responsible for analyzing, processing, and responding to public records requests submitted to the Office of State Attorney, in compliance with State law. The Clerical Specialist II position evaluates whether any record or part of a record is exempt, redacts records, and prepares appropriate redaction and exemption logs. This position maintains a public records request tracking system to monitor timely review and response from the department. The Public Records Administrative Assistant will assist with new employee public records training as well as yearly refreshers for all employees.

     

    To successfully perform the duties of this position, candidates must have a professional demeanor, excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to multitask. Qualified candidates must be efficient on the computer keyboard and work well in a team environment. Candidates must be organized and be able to handle confidential matters with the utmost discretion. Dependable and routine in-office attendance during regularly scheduled business hours is required. We are looking for those who have a desire to help and the ability to get along well with others.

     

    Minimum Training and Experience Required: A high school diploma or equivalency.
