Our UPMC Threat Management & Employee Access department is searching for a Supervisor, Workforce Identification & Access to join the team! This position works fully onsite at the Quantum One Building in the South Side. The schedule is flexible daylight hours.
In this role, the Supervisor will oversee a team of badge production and access assignment specialists. This role will offer guidance and training while delegating and monitoring work tasks. This role is also responsible for overseeing and tracking special projects. The goal is to ensure badge and access operations are carried out productively and to ensure service level agreements are met. The Supervisor will support employees, non-employees, contractors, students, volunteers, vendors, and others who perform services in furtherance of UPMCs mission.

Responsibilities:
+ Act as a liaison between the department, Human Resources and UPMC's workforce in general regarding proper usage of the electronic records management systems and related procedures.
+ Provide guidance to internal customers using the systems.
+ Supervise the processes and tasks associated with providing standard identification credentials to UPMC's employee and non-employee populations.
+ Supervise staff who whose job responsibilities include producing UPMC standard identification to UPMC workforce.
+ Assist with the management of UPMC's New Badge Request / Physical Access Request application.
+ Manage the maintenance of operational equipment and related supplies at the UPMC main workforce identification office and satellite workforce identification locations.
+ Assist with management of planning, execution, and production of workforce identification for large projects.
+ Serve as an advisor on the UPMC ID Governance Committee.
+ Manage and maintain workforce identification distribution locations.
+ Coordinate with approved UPMC delivery and postal departments for deliveries.
+ Occasionally fulfill the duties associated with producing UPMC standard identification to UPMC's workforce when necessary to do so.
+ Supervise the processes and tasks associated with providing UPMC employee and non-employee access to numerous UPMC locations.
+ Supervise staff who whose job responsibilities include providing access to UPMC locations for UPMC's workforce.
+ Lead the processes associated with assuring that UPMC's workforce is provided access to locations appropriate to their roles.
+ Lead the processes associated with removing access from UPMC's workforce who no longer require it.
+ Coordinate with HRIS and UPMC's workforce needing standard UPMC identification because of job transfers, business unit changes and other related adjustments.
+ Assign workforce access requests to UPMC locations not on the UPMC standard access system platform when requested through the access request portal.
+ Train staff on the existing UPMC standard access system and other access systems as needed.
+ Occasionally fulfill the duties associated with providing access for UPMC's workforce when necessary to do so.
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or an Information Technology- related field.
+ OR Associates degree in Human Resources, Business or an Information Technology- related field and two years of working within an identification production / access programming field.
+ Solid knowledge of typical Microsoft applications, including Excel, is required.
+ Leadership experience is preferred.
+ Ability to perform the duties of the position with a significant degree of independence and initiative while exhibiting sound judgment required.
+ Previous experience working within Human Resources and / or access control applications is preferred.
