Pay:
+ Trainee Pay: $10.00 Hourly
+ Any time spent dealing to guests is paid $6 plus tips.
+ Average Hourly Tips in Training- $5.01
+ Average Hourly Tips Once Training Is Completed- $32.29

This class is comprised of two modules:
Module One:
+ Blackjack and Ultimate Texas Hold’em
+ Start date: August 12th
+ End date: September 5 th
+ Training 4 Days A Week
+ Time: 8:00am to 4:00pm
+ Students will be provided a one-hour unpaid lunch break
Module Two:
+ CRAPS and Roulette
+ Start Date: September 8th
+ End Date: October 31 st
+ Training 3 Days A Week
+ Time:8:00am to 4:00pm
+ Dealing 1 to 2 days on Gaming Floor 6:00pm-2:00am
+ Students will be provided a one-hour unpaid lunch break

Passing requirements:
+ Selected applicants are required to pass both Module One and Module Two to continue employment within the Table Games Department.
+ Selected applicants are required to pass both written and physical testing. Two attempts will be provided for each selected applicant. Failure to pass on the second attempt may result in dismissal from class.
+ Exemplar attendance and conduct.
+ Selected applicants unable to pass the class will be offered alternate employment within Choctaw Pocola based upon conduct level and open position status.
+ Upon successful completion of both modules, students will be provided a work schedule from Pocola Table Games.
**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** Dealer 1 Trainee will learn the fundamentals of Table Games, including dealing techniques, game rules, and essential for providing a high-quality gaming experience. Your role will involve hands-on training, mentoring by experienced trainers and a comprehensive evaluation process to prepare the associate for advancement to a position within the Table Games Department. You will report to the Table Games Shift Manager/Manager.
Primary Tasks:
1. Participate in an intensive training program covering multiple table games (e.g. Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker, and Craps)
2. Learn and demonstrate proper dealing techniques, games rules, and house procedures.
3. Understand casino ethics, responsible gaming practices and customer interaction skills.
4. Attend regular training sessions and workshops to enhance your gaming knowledge.
5. Engage with guest, trainees, trainers while encouraging a welcoming environment.
6. Maintain knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance protocols.
7. Prepare for and participate in scheduled assessments and evaluations.
8. Training and Testing: You will go through a structured training program that includes: a training phase (12 to 15 weeks), a mid-program assessment where you will undergo a practical skills evaluation and testing, and a final evaluation which involves a practical dealing test (audition) before a panel of experienced piers within the table games department.
9. Other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Experience handling large volumes of cash
+ Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions)
+ Must be customer-focused while maintaining a positive atmosphere and be and informative.
+ Prior experience in direct customer contact
