    A day in the life:

    + Meet with customers, engineers, vendors, and sub-contractors within the market to find opportunities, understand conditions and help to build our forecast

    + Qualify project opportunities by talking to customers to learn scope, risk, how they plan to go to market, when the work will take place, when the work will be awarded

    + Work with our customers to develop a clear understanding of project scopes and clearly communicate this information to internal team members

    + Prepare proposals and presentations for customer interviews, act as a liaison for ColonialWebb Contractors

    + Develop project sales strategies that include how we interact within the market to be successful

    + Develop and build strong relationships with our major vendors and subcontractors

    You should have:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Construction, or Construction Engineering Management preferred but not required

    + Business development experience with general contractors

    + Possess strong technical and mechanical knowledge of HVAC, ductwork, plumbing and piping systems

    + Possess client management skills; ability to manage customer relationships, perceptions and expectations

    + Demonstrate proficiency Microsoft Excel for cost estimating and engineering functions

    + Knowledge and interest of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, accounting, cost forecasting, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources
