**Job Description** :

Responsibilities

+ Partner with finance and accounting teams to oversee and manage the organization’s budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, securing funding for new product areas and initiatives, and supporting strategic planning efforts.

+ Develop and maintain models to forecast the future value of proposed products, and distill that information into a compelling value pitch for executive audiences.

+ Own and monitor progress against goals, metrics, and OKRs companywide, proactively identifying areas for improvement and working with stakeholders to address any deviations

+ Work with cross-functional peers to conduct data-driven analyses that measure and maximize product impact.

+ Effectively communicate the value of current and future products to executive and team stakeholders, highlighting their impact and alignment with organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Problem solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, synthesize, and present complex information.

+ Financial literacy: Understanding of accounting concepts and strong financial modeling capabilities

+ Data analysis: Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, scenario and financial modeling).

+ Project management: Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex projects, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.

+ Data communication: Proven ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

+ 3 years of experience in business/product operations or a similar role in a high-growth tech company, or 2-3 years in management consulting, private equity, or investment banking

+ Financial modeling expertise and budget management experience.

+ Data analysis experience using SQL or equivalent tools.

Pay and Benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $138,000 - $184,000

Compensation will vary based on factors including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Baton's full-time employees are eligible for an annual performance bonus.
