Job Summary/Basic Function
About This Role:
The QA Compliance Specialist ensures quality and regulatory compliance across digital learning assets at the university. This role involves methodical review of course materials, documentation of findings, and regular reporting to maintain educational standards and regulatory requirements. The specialist works within established frameworks to verify content meets institutional policies and accreditation standards. This position may also assist with the integration of digital learning opportunities outside of LU into the LU system.
What You’ll Do – Position Responsibilities:
Compliance Review and Verification
+ Review and assess digital course materials (modules, syllabi, announcements, gradebook) against compliance checklists.
+ Verify that all required course components meet institutional templates and formatting standards.
+ Monitor and verify accurate implementation of academic policies within digital content.
Documentation, Reporting, and Records Management
+ Document findings in standardized formats and flag non-compliant materials for remediation.
+ Generate weekly/monthly compliance reports.
+ Maintain accurate records of all reviews conducted.
+ Identify patterns in compliance issues to inform training opportunities.
Support and Professional Development
+ Debrief appropriate CITL departments as issues with policy, procedure or quality arise.
+ Provide clerical support for new digital learning initiatives.
+ Participate in compliance training updates to stay current on institutional and regulatory changes.

+ May be required to work at a computer workstation for extended periods of time.
+ Manual dexterity to carry out the functions of the above essential responsibilities.
Job Conditions:
+ This position’s duties are normally performed in a typical interior/residence work environment, based on the activity scheduled.
+ Some physical effort required; however, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
+ No or limited exposure to physical risk.
+ Some travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications
+ Associate degree in MIS , Office Management, or related field.
+ 1-2 years’ experience in quality assurance, compliance, or administrative role.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Excellent organizational, analytical, data review, and reporting skills.
+ Ability to set personal performance goals and provide input to departmental objectives.
+ Ability to multitask and easily prioritize work.

Preferred Qualifications
+ 3-5 years’ experience in quality assurance, compliance, or administrative role.
+ Proficiency in LMS , CMS , ERP , SIS , or other record keeping systems.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Experience with documentation and report generation.
+ Basic understanding of higher education regulations
