Position Summary
The Student Success Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Division of Student Success. Reporting to the Dean of Student Success, this position serves as the primary point of contact for students, families, faculty, and staff seeking guidance or assistance related to student success initiatives. The Operations Coordinator provides proactive support for all students and student success-related communications and helps ensure the smooth delivery of programs and services that enhance the student experience. This position will work with all staff members in the Division of Student Success.

Major Responsibilities
+ Serve as the first point of contact for the Division of Student Success, providing exceptional service to students, families, faculty, and staff. This includes welcoming students, faculty and staff in the office, answering phone calls, and helping to triage questions and concerns.
+ Manage the Student Success email inbox and respond to **or** route inquiries as appropriate.
+ Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring organization and efficiency in all administrative processes.
+ Assist in developing and implementing communication and messaging campaigns targeted at specific student populations.
+ Coordinate timely outreach and follow-up for students identified through early alert systems, including but not limited to Academic Alerts and Registration Reports.
+ Contribute to assessment efforts by collecting, organizing, and reporting data to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Work alongside the Director of Tutoring to support daily operations of peer tutoring.
+ Support the event planning and programming for the Division of Student Success, which includes event logistics, marketing, implementation, and assessment.
+ Actively participate in the department’s/division’s ongoing assessment processes, as required by the unit’s supervisor or assessment coordinator.

Education & Experience Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s Degree is preferred
Minimum Skills/Abilities
+ **Strong Written Communication:** Must demonstrate excellent writing skills for drafting professional emails, student communications, and internal documentation.
+ **Exceptional Organizational Skills:** Must be highly organized with the ability to maintain detailed records, manage schedules, track ongoing initiatives, and ensure timely follow-up on tasks and communications.
+ **Oral Communication and Interpersonal Skills:** Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, families, faculty, and staff in one-on-one and group settings.
+ **Customer Service Skills:** A friendly, approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to providing outstanding service to all campus stakeholders.
+ **Creative Problem Solving:** Ability to think creatively to develop effective outreach strategies, improve processes, and support student engagement initiatives.
+ **Multitasking and Time Management:** Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
+ **Collaboration and Teamwork:** A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential. Must be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the Division of Student Success and other campus departments.
+ **Adaptability:** Comfortable with shifting priorities and able to remain flexible as institutional needs and student demands evolve.
+ **Technology Proficiency:** Competence with Microsoft Office Suite, email platforms, and an ability to learn institutional systems such as Banner, Slate, EAB Navigate and early alert tools.
