We are looking for an Aluminum TIG welder who will support the manufacturing and fabrication process of Sportsman Boats with emphasis on aluminum.

What you'll do:

+ Build t-tops, rod holders, leaning posts, etc. meeting high quality standards and daily production goals

+ Lay out, measure, and align metal work pieces prior to welding

+ Assess welds to ensure they are clean, free of error and in accordance with relevant welding codes

+ Read and interpret weld codes and blueprints

+ Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to address issues

+ Work as a team

To be considered you must have:

+ Aluminum tig welder knowledge and experience

+ Strong fabrication skills

+ Ability to assess metal structures to identify and initiate repair of damaged welds

+ Ability to follow instructions

+ Ability to use small tools, operating air/hand tools, welders, grinders and buffing machines

+ Close tolerance when measuring; strong attention to detail

+ Ability to meet deadlines

+ Ability to work as a team member

+ Ability to comply with safety guidelines

+ Ability to work in fast-paced, ever changing environment

+ Ability to complete a weld test during our onsite interview

+ High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred Experience:

+ Experience in the marine/boating industry
