**THE DEPARTMENT OF LABORATORY MEDICINE AND PATHOLOGY** has an outstanding opportunity for a **GENETIC TESTING NAVIGATOR** .
WORK SCHEDULE
+ 100% FTE (40 hours per week)
+ Hybrid -Work from home up to 3 days per week
+ Day Shift **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
+ Serves as a test utilization management specialist and genetic testing coordinator in a laboratory setting for diagnostic tests in the field of genomics.
+ Essential position within the Clinical Genomic Analysis (CGA) team to maintain smooth operations of clinical services as part of a large team of genetic counselors, variant review scientists and assistants.
+ Supports a variety of clinical tests, research and QI activities as part of the Genetics Division. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Test Utilization Management
+ Client relations
+ Clinical case review and interpretation
+ Administrative and quality improvement operations **REQUIREMENTS**
+ Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or other genetics- or healthcare-related field
+ 2-3 years clinical or research experience in genetics
+ Experience with lab information systems
+ Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Detail oriented and able to adeptly manage multiple priorities and timelines.
