    Role Overview

     

    Creating solutions for everything from dining and nutrition to facilities maintenance and rehabilitative services, Sodexo partners with government agencies and military organizations to improve people’s quality of life and make a positive impact.

     

    We are looking for a dynamic and motivated **General Manager 3 - Food** to lead the charge of food operations supporting MEDCOM at Fort Irwin, CA **located near Barstow, CA** . The Ideal candidate will have a culinary background and operational management or general manager experience from healthcare food service environment with patient and retail operations experience. Hours of operation are 6 AM to 6.30 PM Seven Days a week . Retail operations are open for Breakfast & lunch M-F. This is a non-union account and will be working directly with the Client.

    What You'll Do

    + have oversight of day-to-day operations while ensuring Sodexo standards are met;

    + deliver high quality food service;

    + achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

    + develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

    + manage patient and retail operations; and/or

    + Ensure compliance TB Med 530 , NSF, TJC

    What You Bring

    + have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;

    + are Serve Safe Certified (required)

    + have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;

    + can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

    + prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or

    + demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS)
