    The Good Eating Company is seeking a creative and open-minded **Executive Chef** for our client in **Irvine, CA** . **This position requires a Monday -Friday work schedule.**

     

    This is a **hands-on culinarian** who will focus on the continued growth of our business dining account. Our goal is to become the premier workplace hospitality brand in North America.     What You'll Do

     

    Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for Chef’s who:

     

    + Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served

    + Strong all-round culinary ability and strong craft skills in all areas of professional cookery, including main courses; salads; sauce work; and pastry and baking

    + Have a strong knowledge of food and ability to cook authentic Asian cuisines (Indian, Thai, Vietnamese & Chinese) of cuisine

    + Recognizing and reacting to contemporary trends

    + Use of correct food terminology and cooking methods

    + Continuous search for new ideas, recipes and initiatives to improve both the quality of food and overall service

    + Play a key role and enthusiastically mentor's culinary personnel

    + Extensive experience in **high-volume culinary operations** , managing large-scale food production while maintaining quality and consistency

    + Experience in **menu design** and **implementation** , creating innovative and appealing menus for a diverse set of needs.

    + Ability to **direct and motivate** the team to achieve culinary excellence while fostering a collaborative environment.

    + Experience with the latest **food trends** and techniques, keeping the menu offerings modern and exciting

    Qualifications & Requirements

     

    Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

     

    Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

     

    Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
