    Description

    SAIC's Naval Business Unit is currently hiring for an **Operations Research Analyst** to provide support to the Combat Integration & Identification Systems (CI&IDS) Division in Patuxent River, MD.

    Job Duties:

    + Program/research analyst to apply mathematical modeling, data science techniques, and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions

    + Develop appropriate methodologies, frameworks, and approaches to address division objectives and drive the organization toward results

    + Reinforce the organization's strategic information sharing objectives, and achieve an environment supporting net-centricity, data sharing, and collaboration

    Qualifications

    Required Education and Experience:

    + Bachelors and three (3) years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree

    Required Security Clearance:

    + Must have an Active Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required)

    Required Skills:

    + Detailed experience applying data science techniques for decision support is required

    + Financial management experience is required

    + Experience collecting, integrating, analyzing, and interpreting data to support acquisition strategies is required

    + Experience working in a dynamic team environment is required

    + Experience planning, budgeting, executing, and monitoring acquisition projects is required

    Desired Skills:

    + Experience with ERP's

    + Experience with Navy acquisition and resource planning is desired

     

    Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
