Peckham Diversified - Packing Team Lead
Important Information:
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

SUMMARY
The Packing Team Lead for Revolution Farms will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of the packing team. This role ensures that produce is packed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety and quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Maintain and update SmartSheet packing cards and actively support the integration of other SmartSheet tools.
+ Operate and maintain the top seal machine, perform film changes frequently throughout shift
+ Ensure the harvest totes and other food contact equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to procedure, tote washing area is organized, and that an adequate number of totes are always clean and ready for use.
+ Mix lettuce blends as needed based on the production schedule.
+ Support daily product rotation and dumping processes
+ Complete and submit all logs to the Production Manager. Required logs include food safety, sanitation, production, and waste tracking responsibilities.
+ Promote a positive, inclusive, and productive team environment by modeling appropriate behavior and work ethics.
+ Maintain organization of the Packing Cooler in compliance with Revolution Farms' First In, First Out procedures.
+ Assisting production associate manager with managing day-to-day packing operations.
+ Lead work crews in tasks as assigned by the production manager, while ensuring that all team members are completing tasks safely as assigned.
+ Provide continuous guidance to ensure quality standards and productivity levels are being achieved.
+ Provide packing relief to support production during absences or scheduling gaps
+ Communicating regularly with the Production Manager about progress on assigned tasks and any concerns about tasks or work crew.
+ Train and ensure compliance to food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures and protocols. Maintain safe and clean work environment.
+ Promote Peckham’s vision values and services to all customers and stakeholders
+ Assist in maintaining organizational wide quality standards.
+ Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Prior lead experience.
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing, packing, warehouse, or food production environment.
+ Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold, and physically demanding environment.
+ Must be able to lift to 35 pounds on a frequent basis.
+ Must be able lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
+ Access to reliable transportation.
+ Ability to stand, twist, grab, sort, lift and bend throughout shift.
+ Adhere to Revolution Farms' food safety guidelines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Familiarity with SmartSheet or other project management tools.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
