    Manages medium to large projects from beginning to end, ensuring adherence to GEHA project management principles, processes, and best practices with general overview by more senior project management staff. Successfully delivers projects in both technical and non-technical spaces. Defines and verifies project objectives, scope, requirements, and deliverables that support customer goals in collaboration with all key stakeholders. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual deliverables, ensuring all appropriate resources are assigned, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Dependent upon solution delivery approach, manages projects according to waterfall or agile methodology.

    Job Responsibilities

    + With input from others, assembles the project team and provides continuous work direction and leadership, including scheduling, assigning, and reviewing tasks.

    + With input from others, guides the project team to develop high-value solutions, incorporating feedback from stakeholders.

    + Applies GEHA PMO standards to develop, track, and communicate project progress.

    + Works with project stakeholders to define requirements, quality measures, processes, cost estimates, and milestones.

    + Coordinates input and communication across functional areas affected by project scope, value, risks, or resource needs.

    + Manages projects using either waterfall or agile methodologies.

    + Oversees change control, decision tracking, and management of risks, issues, and assumptions.

    + Leads analysis of project problem areas and supports resolution through troubleshooting, brainstorming, and mitigation planning.

    + Ensures adherence to project management guidelines and monitors the quality of deliverables.

    + Prepares and delivers project documentation, including progress reports, proposals, requirements, and presentations.

    + Builds and maintains critical business relationships to support project success.

    + Manages medium to large sized projects from initiation through completion.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Experience

    + Requires 4–6 years of project management experience with cross-functional teams at varying levels of an organization.

    + Requires Agile certification and experience managing projects in both technical and non-technical spaces.

    + Requires strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressure environments.

    + Requires demonstrated leadership skills to coordinate, motivate, and guide project teams.

    + Requires experience with financial oversight of projects, including budgeting and ensuring ROI targets are met.

    + Requires proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams/SharePoint.

    + Requires a strong aptitude to quickly and independently master new software tools and optimize their effective use across teams.

    + Prefers a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline (additional years of relevant work experience may substitute for formal education).

    + Prefers proficiency with the project portfolio management module of ServiceNow.

    + Prefers proficiency with Azure Dev Ops, Miro, and Visio.

    + Prefers experience in the healthcare industry.

    Work-at-home requirements

    + Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.

    + A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.

    + Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms

    + Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

    + A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

    The annual base salary range for this position is $74,368 - $104,832 USD.
