The Production Scheduler directs efforts towards the effective preparation of production schedules based on immediate production requirements to ensure the timely delivery of both regional and global requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining various scheduling systems, monitoring capacity loads and identifying possible.
What you'll do as a Production Scheduler:
+ Direct efforts towards the effective generation and coordination of production scheduling and material flow functions to ensure timely delivery to support internal/external customer requirements.
+ Maintain accuracy of scheduling systems and schedules to ensure accuracy of signals for the timely ordering, manufacturing and delivery of components.
+ Review system-generated proposed orders and resolves any exceptions.
+ Prepare and issues regular and timely production reports to manufacturing.
+ Align production schedules and equipment capacity to maximize efficiency and profitability.
+ Conduct bi-annual review of lot sizing strategy and makes appropriate recommendations to management based on current build plan, capacity constraints and equipment utilization.
+ Prepare excess and obsolete materials report to support reviews for substitution and bring forward substitution options for consideration and approval by management.
+ Identify and reconcile physical and systematic inventory discrepancies through analysis and investigation of Cycle Counts and Failed Goods Movements, posting job tickets and unreported quality or waste issues.
+ Generate and issue of raw material requirements to suppliers.
+ Deliver standards of performance measurements within scope of responsibility.
+ Maintain effective and collaborative communication with manufacturing, purchasing, engineering and other key stakeholders.
+ Participate in strategic initiatives identified to enhance performance and processes within assigned scope of responsibility.
+ Participate in strategic projects for manufacturing disciplines within assigned scope of responsibility.
We're looking for a Production Scheduler who:
+ Works to a degree of independence, prioritizing multiple tasks; making decisions, meeting many daily deadlines.
+ Can move throughout entire facility to attend to various issues, service customers and attend meetings.
+ Works effectively in teams with strong communication skills and ability to facilitate
+ Is able to perform sedentary work on various computer systems.
We're looking for a Production Scheduler with:
+ 2-Year Business Degree or equivalent work experience
+ Experience in the printing industry is required
+ EFI System knowledge and understanding of advanced scheduling systems.
+ Excellent time management, organizational, and mathematical ability.
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Exceptional ability to react quickly and appropriately in an often fast-paced dynamic environment required.
+ Computer proficiency and Microsoft Office

Physical requirements and working conditions:
Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:
+ Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issues
+ Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to lead
+ Perform sedentary work on various computer systems
+ This Production Scheduler position is located on-site in our DALLAS facility
