Schedule: 40 hours per week, Days; 10 hour shift 4 days per week, On Call Requirement, must be able to respond within 30 minutes or less.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system.

+ Prepare patients for procedures. Review medical history, position patients and clean/shave/numb

testing sites as appropriate.

+ Interpret, describe and report test results; recognize recording errors and artifacts and react

appropriately.

+ Monitor patient prior to, during and after procedures and promptly report any abnormal findings in

patient's condition.

+ Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies and lab area.

+ Ensure equipment is properly functioning.

+ Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.

+ Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department.

+ Previous EP Lab experience is preferred. 4 X 10-hour shifts, no weekends, no holidays.

+ BLS and ACLS required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR associate's degree/technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE REQUIRED:

+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

+ One or more of the following is required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

+ Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

+ Cardiographic Tech specializing in Rhythm Analysis credentialed from the Cardiovascular

Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer

date.

+ Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained

within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

+ Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of

Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer

date.

+ Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography

(ARDMS) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

+ Previous EP Lab experience preferred.

+ Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
