Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Hawai‘i Pacific Health facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. The team provides support to users, and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s numerous facilities and administrative offices. Our Server team is responsible for installing, monitoring and maintaining of Windows server systems on the Hawai‘i Pacific Health network.
As the Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Desktop and Service Desk teams. You will develop operational policies and procedures, and determine the most efficient utilization of personnel and equipment. In this role, you will ensure effective collaboration with computer operations and user departments for planned and unplanned downtimes. You will lead initiatives to enhance customer service, streamline processes, and adopt new tools and technologies that benefit the HPH community, enhance efficiency and reduce costs. As the Manager, you will also lead Desktop & Service Desk teams through design, testing, implementation, and analysis of information technology systems that support clinical and non-clinical workflows and meet HPH security standards and regulatory compliance.

**Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS or related field, OR equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Valid HI driver’s license, abstract and auto insurance policy. Five (5) years of technical experience working with desktop or service desk infrastructure or systems.
Preferred Qualifications: IT certifications OR demonstrated training in desktop or service desk systems. Experience with Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, enterprise Desktop maintenance and support solutions, audio-visual and video teleconferencing systems, and mobile device expertise. Experience with security practices and technologies used to maintain secure desktop.
