    Position Summary

    This position is responsible for operating CNC vertical mills to rough and finish mill twin screw extruder conveying and kneading segments.

     

    Base salary $20 - $25 DOE + 2nd shift premium. Full-time. Benefits eligible.

    Essential Functions

    + Set up and operate multiple Mazak and Doosan vertical mills (4-axis, including VCN-535C)

    + Rough and finish mill conveying and kneading segments

    + Examine materials to ensure they meet quality and specification standards

    + Perform minor maintenance on equipment as needed

    + Comply with all safety and quality standards and procedures

    + Complete required documentation accurately and timely

    + Organize and stage work to efficiently run multiple machines

    + Perform additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    + 5+ years of related machining experience preferred (but not required)

    + Understanding of precision machining tools and proper usage

    + Familiarity with GD&T symbols and tolerances

    + Basic blueprint reading skills

    + Good mechanical aptitude

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

    + Effective verbal communication skills

    + Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
