Overview

We are currently seeking a dependable and reliable **Shop Helper** to join our team in our Fabrication Shop. The ideal candidate would possess a strong-worth ethic, and some basic mechanical knowledge. Candidate needs to be coachable and teachable to learn all operations in the Shop setting. This is a full-time position working primarily in our fabrication shop.

Responsibilities

+ Setup and breakdown of welding prefabrications

+ Assisting with the day-to-day operations of fabrication and logistics

+ Cleanliness and organization of shop

+ Loading and unloading shop tools and equipment from freight shipments

+ Receiving deliveries and shipments

+ Shop Maintenance

+ Picking up materials and supplies at various vendors’ locations

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Proficient with various pipefitting techniques

+ Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

+ Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment

+ Welding certification(s) a plus but not required

+ Valid Driver’s License
