    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The IT Coordinator serves an important role in assisting with the oversight, implementation, and management of the Bank’s IT strategies, operations, and resources.

     

    The IT Coordinator works closely with the VP/Corporate Counsel and Information Security Officer who is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and developing the Bank’s Information Security Program, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information transmitted, processed, and stored on the Bank’s Information Systems. The specific responsibilities are further outlined below:

     

    Information Technology

     

    + Support the development, implementation, and day-to-day operations of the Bank’s Information Security Program.

    + Maintain an active role in managing the Bank’s IT risk assessment, IT strategic planning, asset management, IT audits, business continuity planning, vendor management incident response planning, testing, and security reporting processes.

    + Complete training on the Bank’s new IT Risk Management platform (TRAC) and assist with implementing and managing the following modules: IT Risk Assessment, Business Continuity Management, and Vendor Management.

    + Provide support for the vendor management program which may include assisting with the evaluation of vendors, obtaining and reviewing vendor due diligence information, and assessing vendor risks.

    + Assist with the development and maintenance of appropriate policies and procedures for the management of the Bank’s IT Systems.

    + Serve as a member of the Bank’s IT Committee and assist the IT Committee Chair with the preparation and distribution of IT Committee materials and minutes.

    + Assist with the tracking and reporting of significant security events to the Board, IT Committee, government agencies, and law enforcement, as appropriate.

    + Assist with tracking audit exceptions and / or recommendations as well as coordinate the response to audit findings

     

    General and Administrative Duties

     

    + Assist with implementation of software and development of training materials.

    + Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and assist with the implementation of solutions to enhance overall efficiency and productivity

    + Assist with basic IT support, working with the Bank’s Managed Services Provider (“MSP”) as needed – may include providing password resets for staff members, opening cases with the MSP, providing onsite support at the branches as needed, etc.

    + Assist with IT project management

    + Assist with other assignments as requested by the VP/Corporate Counsel and Information Security Officer

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

Individual experience and abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field and/or experience in IT support, compliance, auditing, or risk management within a financial or regulated environment.

    + Understanding of IT compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements in the banking/financial sector is a plus.

    + Strong documentation and organizational skills; ability to manage and update policies, procedures, and reports.

    + Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.

    + Strong communication skills; able to interact with both technical staff and non-technical stakeholders

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, SharePoint, and Excel

    + The position’s pay range starts anywhere between $24 – $38 hourly
