    In this position...

     

    This position is responsible for identifying, evaluating and resolving cross functional customer and product issues through early indicators like social media and connected data. This role will lead the triage and resolution based upon risk and impact to the customers and the Ford Motor Company brand. Responsibilities span all retail EV models and production years with the potential to expand into our ICE vehicle lines. It requires developing a compelling reason to correct or implement features and to work cross-functionally deliver value for both the customer and the company.

     

    What you'll do..

     

    + Gather Customer Inputs (Social Media, Customer Relations Call Center, Technician Hotline, In Vehicle Voice Feedback, etc...)

    + Triage / Root Cause Customer Issues using connected data, vehicle data, etc…

    + Own Issue Tracking, Progress, Reporting, Prioritization, Escalating, Metrics and Issue Resolution

    + Assign Directly Responsible Individuals and Facilitate Meetings

    + Linkage with Customer Relations Call Center

    + Indirect / direct communication with customers

    + On Going Product Development (e.g. Feature Improvements, workshop manuals, etc…)

     

    You'll have...

     

    + Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering or in similar field.

    + Min of 1+ years in triage and root cause analysis of electrical systems

    + Passion for understanding and solving real customer issues

    + Ability to lead cross-functional teams, escalating where necessary for support and reporting to management on the progress of each initiative

    + Cross functional knowledge of the entire vehicle, especially automotive electrical vehicle architectures, electronical systems and features

    + Self-starter; ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

    + Strong interpersonal skills and both clear and concise oral and written communications

     

    Even better, you may have...

     

    + Masters of Science Engineering Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering desired

    + 6 Sigma Black Belt desired

    + Strong knowledge of connected data systems and social media forums

    + CAN network communication tools, FDRS and other automotive diagnostic tools

    + Strong systems analysis support and cross functional collaboration

    + Working knowledge of OTA methods and processes

    + Strong Mental Agility with a commitment to listen others while maintaining the course of investigation and resolution

    + Organizational acumen; understanding what, when and how to escalate issues inclusive of potential media/external communications

    + Proven leadership of teams and projects
