RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY:
• Serves as the engagement lead and primary liaison between Queen’s Clinical Physician Network (QCIPN) and assigned providers for recruiting, onboarding, and network support activities.
• Coordinates and facilitates provider onboarding and ensures that providers understand the support services available to them through QCIPN for clinical care coordination, transitional care management, quality, risk adjustment, and other practice management activities.
• Leads the deployment of QCIPN resources to assigned providers based on their needs and investigates and resolves provider operational issues.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge and understanding of various QCIPN contracts and related programs to effectively inform and support providers on key initiatives.
• Identifies network growth opportunities and plans and implements activities to engage providers and promote relationship building.
• Provides offsite visits to build and strengthen relations with providers.
• Executes and drives implementation of the Queen’s Clinically Integrated Physician Network (QCIPN) strategic communications plan and coordinates communication related activities for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Plans, coordinates and implements projects for QCIPN and related communications.
• Coordinates web-based educational offerings for QCIPN.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

B. MANUAL MATERIAL HANDLING:
• Infrequent: Lift floor to waist between 6-10 lbs. Lift waist to shoulder between 0-5 lbs. Lift waist to overhead between 0-5 lbs. Carry between 6-10 lbs. Push and Pull between 0-5 lbs.
• Occasional: Lift floor to waist between 0-5 lbs.
• Frequent: Carry between 0-5 lbs.

• Infrequent: N/A
• Occasional: Stand.
• Frequent: Sit. Walk.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
• May be required to work occasional weekends or evenings depending on the schedule of physician events.
• Access to vehicle as travel to off-site locations is involved.
• Spends approximately 50% of time in the field at provider offices.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in nursing or health care related field or health care administration.
• Master's degree preferred.
B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
Valid U.S. driver's license required in accordance with Hawaii State law rules and regulations.
• Driver's abstract or evidence of good driving record.
• Licensed healthcare professional preferred (i.e. Registered Nurse, Licensed Social Worker).
C. EXPERIENCE:
• Three (3) years of experience in health care with demonstrated success in provider relations, provider recruitment, pharmaceutical sales, practice management, or other physician centered activities.
• Prior experience in communications, training, marketing or public relations, preferably in a comparable organization.
• Experience to demonstrate:
o Ability to work effectively with physicians, management, staff and the broader community.
o Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively communicate.
o Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and independently execute tasks.
o Exceptional customer service and follow through.
o Experience working with and communicating effectively with providers.
o Knowledge of medical terminology.
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of managed care and healthcare operations preferred.
• Prior experience working with payers and purchasers (value base contracting) preferred.
• Prior project management experience in health care preferred.
