    Job Description:

    As a **Senior Project Manager - Facilities (m/w/*)** at our EMEA Engineering Department in **Hilden** , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

     

    + _Managing large, complex facilities and equipment investment projects at EMEA manufacturing plants, including all phases from scoping to handover._

    + _Overseeing performance, deadlines, resources, costs, budgets and expenditures of the projects._

    + _Leading one or more cross-functional project teams with a high level of autonomy._

    + _Performing feasibility studies and front-end work._

    + _Communicating with internal and external stakeholders up to the executive level at 3M, business partners and authorities._

     

    Your Skills and Expertise

    To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

    + _Successfully completed degree in the field of Engineering (Facilities Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)._

    + _In-depth experience in hands-on capital project leadership in the field of manufacturing process equipment and facility/utility ._

    + _Strong knowledge and extensive experience in the field of manufacturing, capital investment engineering and project management ._

    + _Wide knowledge of permitting processes in the field of Emission permits (BImSch) as well as facilities permits._

    + _Fluency in German & English._

    Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

    + _Formal project management qualification e.g. PMI certification._

    + _Demonstrated strong project leadership and business acumen in agile project management._

    + _Location Information: Hilden, Germany, on site_

    + _Travel expectations: May include EMEA travel up to 20%_
