Job Overview
**Fairview** seeking a **Breast Radiologist physician** to join our practice covering our community sites **.** The physician is a member of a health care team who specializes in the use of imaging techniques, primarily mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, to diagnose and manage breast conditions services to patients.
The physician plays a crucial role in early detection, accurate diagnosis, and guiding treatment plans for breast diseases. Physician works closely with families to provide support and education as well as collaborating with other physicians and clinical staff to provide care and timely access to patients. Some remote diagnostic and ultrasound interpretations. Travel between multiple locations required.
Essential Functions
+ Interpreting Imaging Studies: interpret mammograms, ultrasounds, and MRI scans to identify abnormalities or suspicious areas in the breast.
+ Providing diagnoses: making accurate diagnoses based on imaging findings.
+ Communicate results and provide recommendations to referring physicians and patients
+ Performing Interventional Procedures: perform minimally invasive procedures such as biopsies to obtain tissue samples for diagnosis.
+ Collaborating with other healthcare professionals: work closely with surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for breast cancer and other conditions.
+ Patient Education and Counseling: explain imaging findings to patients, answer questions, and provide guidance on treatment options
Qualifications:
+ Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Breast Imaging Radiology residency training program
+ Board Certified/Board Prepared in Diagnostic Radiology with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association
+ Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
+ Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
+ Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Compensation Disclaimer
The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills,knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions withthe same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
