    Job Overview

     

    Fairview is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide for Fairview **Lakes Medical Center** located in Princeton, MN! This position offers about 12 hours per a 2-week pay period and is **not** benefit eligible.

     

    **Summary:** The Nutrition Services Aide prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner, serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays.

     

    Week 1

     

    Tue: 4pm - 7pm

     

    Week 2

     

    Tue: 4pm - 7pm

     

    Sat: 4pm - 7pm

     

    Sun: 4pm - 7pm

    Responsibilities

    + Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated area

    + Prepares and delivers patient nourishments and tube feeding per department standards.

    + Plates and serves food

    + Accurately place correct item on tray in proper location in accordance with department productivity standards.

    + Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operating procedures.

    + Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.

    + Serves customers in cafeterias, doctor’s dining rooms and other non-patient locations.

    + Accurately operates cash register.

    Qualifications

    Preferred

    Education

    + High School Diploma/G.E.D.

    Experience

    License/Certification/Registration

    Additional Requirements (must be acquired or completed within a period of time):

    + Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.

    + Basic math skills
