The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team.
RTX is looking for a Senior Manager of Workplace Design to advise and execute best in class design throughout the global real estate portfolio. This individual will act as the subject matter expert, partnering cross functionally with stakeholders to create adaptive and efficient environments that enhance the onsite RTX experience and drive organizational excellence. Experience in Workplace Design, Project Management, and/or Facility related program/ project execution is desired.
What You Will do:
+ Act as the subject matter expert for creating and implementing workplace design guidelines throughout the RTX global real estate portfolio.
+ Create best in class Workplace Design guidelines blending industry standard practices with the intricacies of designing space in both unsecured and secured environments.
+ Partner closely with the RTX Project Delivery team in the planning and execution of new office construction..
+ Work with Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, Digital Technology, Facilities Management and Project Management groups to ensure implementation of workplace design throughout the real estate portfolio. Oversees onboarding of A&E firms to ensure compliance with Workplace Design guidelines.
+ Assesses Workplace Design project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
+ Regularly interacts and interfaces with customers. Works with organization to develop, maintain and support real estate goals through understanding the workplace design guidelines.
+ Aligns services, service levels, technology, vendor/supplier management, and initiatives with business strategies and needs.
+ Represents Workplace Design in enterprise/corporate initiatives. Acts as Workplace Design contact and advocates for delivery of high quality services. May support the development of presentations to business unit stakeholders and senior leadership.
Qualifications You Must Have
+ This role typically requires a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience; preferably gained in a Corporate Real Estate setting .
+ At least 7 years’ experience with and knowledge of Corporate Real Estate workplace design as well as working knowledge of the impacts of design on space utilization, Project Management, Construction Development, Workplace Strategy and Facility Management.
+ At least 7 years’ experience working with Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, Digital Technology, Facilities Management and Project Management groups to ensure implementation of workplace design throughout the real estate portfolio in addition to onboarding of A&E firms to ensure compliance with Workplace Design guidelines.
+ At least 7 years’ experience building relationships in complex situations both internally and externally.
+ Ability to understand the financial impact of decisions and knowledge of financial terms & principles.
+ Ability to comprehend and solve complex problems requiring both qualitative and quantitative considerations.
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ PMP certification or equivalent
+ Experience designing classified space and working within ICD-705 requirements.
+ Understanding of space design across multiple archetypes, including office, lab, manufacturing and warehouse.
+ Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment that included matrixed organizations.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
