    Substitute Cafeteria Workers Needed for Horry County School District, SC

    **Job Description:** Join the Horry County School District as a Substitute Food Service Employee. You will work in the cafeteria and assist the kitchen with preparing food, serving, and general cleaning.

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma / GED or higher

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + Ability to follow oral and written directions

    + Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

    + Understanding and respect for diverse cultures

    + Compliance with OSHA and school safety regulations

    + No misdemeanors/felonies within the last 7 years. Violent charges are never accepted with the Horry County Schools regardless of date.

    Responsibilities:

    + Work under the supervision of the School District’s full-time kitchen staff

    + Dress appropriately as per KE Standards of Professional Conduct

    + Assist the kitchen with preparing food; Openings large cans, mixing ingredients, serving food on treys, etc...

    + Assist in cleaning and maintence

    + Follow cleaning and sanitation rules and procedures

    + Ensure proper care, use, and safety of chemicals and equipment
