    Required Skills:

    Software Engineer (Systems) Responsibilities:

    1. Machine learning infra engineers work on the Foundation Model Co-design domain.

    2. We focus on the foundation model and drive the foundation model for Meta's recommendation system, building and scaling foundation model capabilities, and innovate SOTA training and inference system to support the largest and most complex recommendation models at Meta, across IG Reels, FB Reels/Video, and Feed.

    3. Drive core metrics such as app sessions, cDAU and watch time for Meta’s top1 invested Reels products.

    4. With cutting edge AI/ML technology, we also optimize GPU capacity savings for foundation models.

    5. Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and completion of one university-level coursework, research project or internship.

    6. Completion of one university-level coursework, research project or internship must include experience in the following:

    7. 1. Programming in C/C++ or Python

    8. 2. Developing AI-System infrastructure or AI algorithms in C/C++ or Python

    9. 3. One or more of the following machine learning/deep learning domains: Hardware accelerators architecture, GPU architecture, machine learning compilers, ML systems, AI infrastructure, high performance computing, performance optimizations, or Machine learning frameworks (eg PyTorch), numerics and SW/HW co-design

    10. 4. Owning a component, feature or system

    11. 5. Building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability

    12. 6. Setting technical direction for a team, driving consensus and cross-functional partnerships

    Public Compensation:

    $222,772/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
