Required Skills:

Software Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test software systems for various software services.

2. Build industry leading enterprise systems that are highly available, intuitive, scalable, and secure.

3. Work with product managers, designers and other engineers to create software that optimizes for business metrics.

4. Produce highly reliable and performant code with appropriate monitoring and alerting.

5. Conduct design and code reviews to ensure scalability, performance and alignment with standards and best practices.

6. Follow release management policies to ensure data integrity, compliance and system stability.

7. Drive the team's goals and technical direction to pursue opportunities that make our larger organization more efficient.

8. Mentor and influence senior engineers across organizations.

9. Effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail.

10. Understand industry & company-wide trends to help assess & develop new technologies.

11. Identify new opportunities for the larger organization & influence the appropriate people for staffing/prioritizing these new ideas.

12. Create business products and features on a large scale.

13. Lead long term technical vision and roadmap for large cross-company efforts.

14. Partner closely with infrastructure and operations teams to build and scale back-end services.

Minimum Qualifications:

15. Requires Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 96 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation

16. Requires 4 years of experience involving following:

17. 1. Building intuitive systems in at least one of the following: Java, PHP, C++, or JavaScript technologies such as ReactJS or AngularJS

18. 2. Working with code bases building micro services, REST APIs, and GraphQL

19. 3. Modelling data flows between systems to enable transactional workflows and up-stream or downstream integrations

20. 4. Building secure software with auditable access controls and permissions

21. 5. Object-oriented programming

22. 6. Unix or Linux

Public Compensation:

$300,731/year to $339,130/year + bonus + equity + benefits
