• Structural Engineer

    US Tech Solutions (Birmingham, AL)


    Responsibilities:

    + Minimum 5 years of design experience of industrial and/or commercial structural engineering

    + Experience with analyzing steel connections.

    + Professional Engineering registration is a plus, but not required.

    + Proficient with MathCAD and STAAD Pro

    + Working knowledge with ANSYS

    + Working knowledge of AISC, ASCE, ACI codes

    + Design experience in transmission structures is a plus, but not required.

    + Computer skills to be proficient with standard office software applications.

    + Interpersonal skills sufficient to build working relationships with peers, internal customers and the general public.

    + Time management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects with various priorities and competing deadlines.

    + Written and verbal communication skills sufficient to satisfactorily complete project documentation and to function effectively in a team environment.
