**Kadiak, LLC** , a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility to support **Kadiak** and our government customer in Washington, DC.

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is looking for a highly qualified, experienced and self-motivated individual to perform the duties of a Senior Software Engineer to support the Administrative Applications Unit (AAU) at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web-based applications that support critical administrative functions across multiple FBI divisions, while providing technical leadership to the team. This position requires an Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance, supporting a DOJ FBI five-year contract beginning mid-July 2025. The primary work location is Patriots Plaza in Washington DC (with a possible work location of Mission Ridge in Chantilly, VA upon special request and client approval). Some telework flexibility may be available on a case-by-case basis.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the architecture, design, development, testing, and management of application development projects in support of FBI's IT infrastructure. Working within the AAU team, this role will:

+ Architect and lead custom web application development

+ Design complex system integrations

+ Establish development standards and best practices

+ Lead technical solution implementations

+ Optimize large-scale data processing solutions

+ Guide full software development lifecycle

+ Oversee technical project milestone reviews

+ The Senior Engineer will lead development and maintenance of a portfolio of custom-built and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, implementing advanced technical solutions and providing technical directions to other team members.

+ AAU uses Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and Oracle Application Express (APEX) to provide web-based application support and conducts regular operations and maintenance (O&M) to keep applications secure and operating effectively and efficiently.

+ This position requires collaboration with stakeholders across multiple FBI divisions to deliver robust technical solutions that meet their specific business needs.

Clearance:

+ Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance

Required Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Abilities:

+ Bachelor's degree in related field

+ 7+ years of experience in software development and application management

+ Advanced experience with Java, J2EE, and enterprise web application development

+ Expertise with Oracle database systems and APEX development

+ Proven ability to architect and integrate complex system components

+ Experience leading technical teams and establishing development standards

+ In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies

+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Abilities:

+ Advanced experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint

+ Expertise in large-scale data processing and statistical modeling

+ Experience with application performance optimization techniques
