LeSuuer is home to a historic downtown, variety of housing, great school district, fishing, apple orchard and friendly community Responsibilities Work Schedule Monday–Friday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM Every 3rd–4th Saturday (rotation): 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Benefits Overview You receive a strong benefits package that starts the first of the next month that employees start that includes: 401(k) with matching Health, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA) Paid time off (PTO) – starts Day 1 Life and disability insurance Employee assistance program (EAP) Tuition reimbursement Referral program Position Summary As a Logistics Lead at the Gaylord Distribution Center, your goal is to: Maintain a safe, productive environment Foster teamwork across all shifts Lead by example and improve workflow logistics Key Responsibilities Start-of-shift leadership: Lead pre-shift meetings, stretching, workload assignments, and communication. Inbound/Outbound Logistics: Monitor doors, follow prep/close procedures, and manage trailer unloading/loading. Workflow Coordination: Partner with office staff to maintain smooth floor operations. Quality & Safety: Verify hot list loads, address safety concerns, maintain cleanliness/organization. Forklift Operations: Operate safely, assist operators, and train others progressively. Leadership & Coverage: Back up the supervisor when needed, promote positive communication and teamwork. Food Safety & Compliance: Maintain sanitation and safety standards; report any food safety or quality concerns. Qualifications Required Education & Experience Minimum 6 months experience in a palletized warehouse environment (preferred but not strictly required). High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful completion of Powered Industrial Truck (P.I.T.) training – required (Michael Foods P.I.T. program). Ability to effectively read, write, and speak English. Strong math and configuration skills. Proficiency with standard office technology (computer, copier/fax, phone system). Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential. Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills Ability to analyze situations and make decisions that benefit the company without compromising employee safety or well-being. All distribution operators will receive MFI-approved P.I.T. training/certification at the start of employment. The pay range for this position is $22.50 to $27.50 per hour.
