Job Description:
The Role:
As the Practice Supervisor, you are the cornerstone of our team's success. This is not just a supervisory position; it's an opportunity to lead, inspire, and innovate. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare for our aging population, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and support.
The Work:
+ Operational Oversight: Manage the daily operations of our busy geriatric practice, ensuring efficiency and excellence in patient care.
+ Staff Coordination: Coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments for clerical and support staff, ensuring optimal workflow and patient service.
+ Leadership & Development: Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Conduct performance evaluations and implement disciplinary actions as needed.
+ Quality Assurance: Assess the quality of services delivered, facilitate staff development programs, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Policy Compliance: Ensure staff adherence to departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
+ Issue Resolution: Lead the resolution of complex issues and complaints, maintaining a patient-centered approach and upholding our commitment to excellence.
You Have:
+ Experience: A minimum of 1 year of supervisory/managerial experience, with a preference for a medical practice environment.
+ Passion: A deep commitment to enhancing the patient experience and delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
+ Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisive decisions in a fast-paced environment.
+ Adaptability: Flexibility to navigate and thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing healthcare setting.
+ Professionalism: A steadfast commitment to maintaining professionalism, even in challenging situations.
