    Summary:

    Meta Wearables is looking for a 2D/UI Artist to join the Product Creative team. Product Creative uses artistic and technical skills to create the vision and experiences that make Meta Wearables trend-setting, distinct, and loved by customers.The 2D/UI Artist will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating stunning illustrations, iconography, and UI elements for our wearable devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and product management, to bring our wearable products to life.

    Required Skills:

    2D/UI Artist | Wearables Product Creative Responsibilities:

    1. Conceptualize and design high-quality illustrations, icons, User Interface elements, and more across wearable devices

    2. Collaborate with a Creative Director, artists, and designers on styling and patterns

    3. Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure design consistency and feasibility

    4. Develop and maintain design guidelines, standards, and best practices

    5. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure implementation meets intent

    6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and design patterns for wearable devices

    7. Participate in critiques and feedback sessions to continuously improve quality

    Minimum Qualifications:

    8. 2+ years of experience in art, illustration, iconography, and/or User Interface design, with a focus on mobile applications

    9. Portfolio showcasing your design work

    10. Experience with design systems and design languages

    11. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, Adobe XD, or similar

    12. Proven visual design skills, with examples showing an understanding of color theory, typography, and composition

    13. Proven collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams

    14. Proven communication skills with the experience sharing opinions, while remaining open to feedback and alternative perspectives

    15. Experience self-managing multiple projects and deadlines

    Public Compensation:

    $95,000/year to $148,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
